Point Loma Cars & Coffee

By Rudy Bañuelos

The third Cars and Coffee event of the year was a great success thanks to Point Loma Cars and Coffee and all in attendance. We want to thank all who stopped by the SD BMW CCA banner to share a moment and say “Hello”. This time around we gathered at Shelter Island with coffee and donuts with ample space to chat, share, and enjoy the morning and view of the bay. A beautiful overcast day offered a variety of makes and models stretching from a modified 1960 Jaguar E type, plenty of M-power on four wheels, clean muscle cars, VW Campervan, a few convertibles, and a BMW 2002 Tii. Even a cruise ship briefly joined the event!

Stay on the look out for future Cars and Coffee events, and don’t forget to look for the BMW CCA banner.

”Kickoff the New Year” Cars and Coffee event recap!

Our first Cars and Coffee event of the New Year was a resounding success (especially if you consider some of the exhaust notes!) The weather couldn’t have been better under a clear, sunny, San Diego winter day. We had over 100 BMWs participating this time and several other marques showing up as well. It was good to be back at Liberty Station at the Point Loma Cars and Coffee event, a fan favorite.

My First BMW - I blame my grandmother

My First BMW - I blame my grandmother

At some past time, we BMW enthusiasts didn’t have a Bimmer as one of our pastimes. Each of us came to BMW ownership in our own way. Maybe one caught our attention on the road or at a Cars and Coffee. Maybe a co-worker pulled up in a shiny 5 Series and you were inspired to get one too. Maybe you read an article or watched a YouTube video and just knew BMW was the right car for you. We all have our own stories.
