Do you know a volunteer that goes the extra mile for the BMW club members? Now is the time to recognize their
contributions by nominating them as Volunteer of the Year. Send your nomination and a short description of
why you think they deserve the award to our chapter President Mike Turpen at .
The award will be voted on by all members in attendance at the February board meeting

Let the club know what events you would like for 2010. We will have the usual (Autocrosses, Driving School,
Clean Car Show, Holiday Party). What else would you like to participate in? We have an open discussion on
our Facebook group or you can send suggestions directly to me,

San Diego Chapter - Board meeting
February 9 The board meeting is open to all chapter members.
Come at 6 for the pizza and soft drinks, the board meeting starts at 6:30. The meeting is held
at Giovanni's, 9353 Clairemont Mesa Blvd.
San Diego Chapter - Autocross at Qualcomm Stadium
February 20
We will be running on the Qualcomm West Lot.
Registration will be $60,
we will take 90 cars with the first 15 non BMWs

San Diego Chapter - Tech Session at BumperDoc
February 27 The tech session will run from 6-7:30 PM at Bumper Doc, 3885 Convoy St.
San Diego, CA 92111. Mr Dave Stall (The Car Guy, from KUSI) will be the guest speaker. Pizza drinks and Starbuck coffee will
be provided. Demonstrations of paintless dent removal, bumper repair, headlight restoration and more. There will be
a raffle at the end of the event. For more details and the RSVP see the event flyer
