May 13 - S. D. Chapter Board Meeting
The meeting is open to all chapter members. We meet at Giovanni's, 9353 Clairemont Mesa Blvd.
The club provides a selection of pizza and soda, starting around 5:45. The board meeting
starts at 6:30. Visitors are welcome, come by and see what the chapter is planning.
May 18 - S.D. Chapter Car Show, Clean Car Contest and Charity Auction
9:00am-3:00pm
Spanish Landing, on the grass, at the bay, across from the SD airport. Three classes,
superb awards, large amount of BMW auction items, concours catered lunch.

May 21 - Susan G Komen Ultimate Drive for the Cure
This year marks the 12th anniversary of the BMW Ultimate Drive® program, a national breast
health outreach campaign where BMW is supporting Susan G. Komen for the Cure. It’s a fun
experience and for each test mile driven, $1 will be donated to Komen on behalf of the
driver (participation is free!). May 21 at Cunningham BMW in El Cajon from 10 to 5:30!

May 21 - Tech Session - The new M3 at Cunningham BMW
After you have finished driving at the Susan G Komen event, join us at 6 pm for a barbecue
and a Motorsport-filled evening. Cunningham is in El Cajon at I-8 at the
El Cajon Blvd. exit; you can’t miss it on the right side.
The much-anticipated M3 with 8400 rpm of V8 power has made it to San Diego!
Cunningham BMW
in El Cajon is arranging an introduction for our Chapter. They will have one or
more M3s available so we can look closely inside, under the hood, and underneath
with technicians on hand to explain all the new features. We will be able to take
a short test-drive and feel the power for ourselves.
