Calling all women to celebrate Women’s History Month and the International Day of Women! This event is organized BY WOMEN, FOR WOMEN to provide a friendly and supportive environment in which to introduce you to the San Diego Chapter of the BMW Car Club of America and the thrill of motorsports. So whether you are a long time Club member or just kicking the tires and want to try something new, we would love to see you at this one of many women’s-only events to come. 

Our first event will be a social gathering at Castelli & Pizarro Family Vineyards & Winery in Ramona. We will enjoy a brief tour, wine, pizza, dessert, and great conversations. We want to get to know you and survey what women’s-only events you would like to see in the future. 

If you would like to try a little driving adventure, join us at 1:30pm at the North County Mall in Escondido (Parking lot between BJ’s and Macy’s) to enjoy a fun drive to the winery together on beautiful winding backroads. Or if you are short on time, just meet us directly at the winery around 2:15pm.

You'll get to drive several M models and courses - including a lead-follow track session, autocross competition, skidpad, and drag race - and experience the full capability of current M cars, including the new G87 M2.

Important registration note: To ensure that all CCA members have an equal opportunity to register, and to comply with IRS regulations regarding member revenue for social clubs, ALL entries will require a current BMW CCA Primary or Associate membership. If you’ve previously paid for a non-member to join you, this is no longer a registration option.

BMW of Carlsbad just built a new $45M facility and they want to show it off! There will be food, drinks and music! This promises to be a wonderful, sophisticated evening out and SD BMW CCA members are invited!

This event is hosted by Carl and his daughter Sara Nelson. Carl, the “Bimmerdoc”, has been restoring and maintaining BMWs for decades. He was named “friend of the marque” by the International BMW Club and knows more about vintage BMWs than almost anyone. He has a city block worth of parts in inventory and will give a talk using cars at his facility on why you should crush your BMW rather than restoring it. It is compelling, but then again he is now booking restorations that won’t begin until 2028.

Park in La Jolla Independent’s lot off of La Jolla Boulevard, but keep in mind first in maybe last out. Overflow parking is on the residential street to the east of La Jolla Blvd (Hermosa Ave).

We have been invited to join Escondido Cars and Coffee’s 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat event on Tuesday, October 31 at their usual spot in Kit Carson Park in Escondido. Help make this community event SPOOKTACULAR by joining with other car clubs, including the Mustang Club of San Diego and the San Diego Pontiac Club.

Arrive between 5:00 - 5:30pm to decorate your ride with lights and Halloween decor. Bring plenty of candy to pass out to trick-or-treaters. Escondido Cars and Coffee will provide yummy hot cocoa. Let’s join our friends at Garage Collective for their Oktoberfest celebration! On Saturday, October 28th, there will be a two-part event you can choose to attend either or both.

From 9-11am, there will be a Cars & Coffee Oktoberfest Edition. All German cars are welcome for this special themed event.

Then, starting at 11am will be a special members-only event for local German car clubs such as BMW CCA! Stop by and enjoy a cold one from their exclusive Oktoberfest themed beer garden! Hang out, drive a BMW in the sim and compete for the best time, and mingle with other local German club members in this local car culture inclusive event hosted by Garage Collective.

Join us on Saturday, October 21 for CAR'TOBERFEST organized by Analog and Grit Vintage Coffee Truck. Don’t miss the traditional Oktoberfest fun with food, music, beer, German outfits, and the best part...all German make cars and motorcycles. There will be Cars+Bikes+Coffee+Pastries from 8am to 11am. Then Smash burgers+Brats+Beer+Cars+Bikes from noon until 4pm. Last call for beer will be at 3:30pm. North SD Cars and Coffee usually meets every third Saturday of the month with an optional cruise (not a race) starting at 9am. This is a family-friendly event and ALL cars are welcome!
