Newsletter: Connie says good bye. Thanks for all the hard work and great newsletters Connie!

Auto-cross Chair: Our next autox will be held on Saturday, February 4th in Qualcomm's West Lot. We currently have four autoxes scheduled between now and July.

Driving School: Rich notified us that there were approximately 50 spaces still available for the February Driving School at Buttonwillow. There was also a motion passed to cover the cost of Fridays Instructor Training Day.

New Business:

Mark Robbins: It was ultimately decided that at this time, it would be too expensive to do an event at Miramar Speedcircuit. A discussion was held regarding the “Only Yesterday” event. Before Mark can make any further plans for the event, he needs a budget. It was voted on, and passed to give Mark a budget of $2,000.

Matthew Kogan: “Street Survival” - This event is directed towards young people (16-20), and focuses on car control. Matt explained that there will be no financial risk to the club for this event. He was interested in possibly having this event on May 6th at Qualcomm. Gordon will be meeting with the stadium to discuss dates for the second half of the year, and will ask about that date. A motion was carried to try to reserve that date.

Dennis Damon: Dennis submitted the check for $1,000 to Toys For Tots. A motion was also approved to continue going to the auto museum for the Holiday Party.

Social Events: Tom currently doesn't have any events planned.

Webmaster: Everything is going well.

The meeting was adjourned at approximately 8:00pm.
